For this month Michelle sent us the stamped image from "A Beautiful You", a piece of white ribbon and 5 pearls.
I used Flirty Flamingo as my card base. I cut a square from pool party and then I cut the image down a little smaller and then I used a corner punch to round two of the corners. I then colored the hat in Crushed Curry, the dress in Flirty Flamingo with Watermelon Wonder to accent the dress. Soft Sky for the water. I then used Timeless Textures for the dotted background and the sentiment is from Frosted Medallions. I used the pearls in the four corners and a piece of ribbon down the side.
Michelle Challenged us with the Merry Mice, a piece of double sided Candy Cane DSP, rope and bells.
I die cut the image with the lables die, I then die cut another one from the music sheet to frame the top and bottom. I used Real Red for the card, the Whisper White base and then topped it off with the DSP. I colored in the mouse with the new In-Colors. Mouse is smokey slate, hat and pants is real red, book is emerald envy, shirt is peek-a-boo peach, nose is sweet sugarplum, ball on hat and snowflakes is flirty flamingo and scarf is dapper denim. I added the bling for sparkle and candy cane lane bakers twine to hold the bells.
Hope you like it and that I am inspiring you to create!
Soon I will post December team share. It is a new release!!
Of all holiday's Christmas and New Year's are my favorites and of the seasons, Autumn and Winter.
I have always loved this time of the year, you see your families, you remind yourself of the ones who can not be with you or who have past on. Old memories come alive for me this time of year.
I and my brothers having snowball fights, making snow angels, sledding with our friends and when they said the creek was frozen...ice skating! Oh those were the days.
Candy canes, we would always put them on the tree to be reminded of God and his son Jesus.
Look at the Candy Cane
What do you see?
Stripes that are red
Like the blood shed for me
White is for my Savior
Who’s sinless and pure!
“J” is for Jesus My Lord, that’s for sure!
Turn it around
And a staff you will see
Jesus my shepherd
Was born for Me!
Here is my card for the challenge, I left it open so a card or money could be in it. Hope you like it!!
Cardstock Real Red, Sentiment from the Season is the Reason stamp set, flowers are made from the Botanical Blooms die set, Dazzling diamonds glitter, Silver and Red CS, and the double sided paper is from Candy Cane Lane DSP.
WOW!! The girls over at Just Us Girls have put on an awesome challenge. I love Purple and what to create for this challenge....After looking the photo over and seeing what the other girls created, I decided on using a Christmas tree. Now do I want it to be silver with purple or purple with silver?
I finally decided on a purple tree with silver. Hope you like it!

52 Christmas Card Throwdown-glitter
Sorry for the late post, I started a new position at my company and we have been working some long hours which has finally slowed down...so on with my post.
Michelle is really challenging us with our team shares. She sent us a piece of gold ribbon, sleigh and sleigh overlay.
This one was not to hard, I had an idea of what I wanted to create, but would it turn out....IT DID!
I loved how it turned out, hope you like it to!
I used also Santa from Cookie Cutter Christmas, he is on his knees in prayer for a blessed night, Star of Light to light the way of those who still Jesus, Lovely as A Tree as the background of a woods, I decorated the background to be the Northern Lights. This is a Z-fold card except without the extra strip.
Thanks for stopping by! my next post will be around Thanksgiving for the November Team Shares!
Merry Monday challenge this round is inspired by the color combos of pinks, greys or silver.
I used Blushing Bride for the card base, I then used the new Stampin Up! Star of Light stamp bundle. I stamped the stars and swoosh in Stampin Up! Silver embossing powder. Then I die cut the star in bright pink glitter cardstock and vellum. I stamped a star from the same stamp set and embossed in silver again. I added a few pink pearls. I love how this turned out and how the camera popped the star, I hope you like it also. Leave me a comment and let me know!!
Michelle is my team demonstrator leader and she sends us a few elements each month to inspire us to create a card. She sent us 3 elements:
Eskimo from the cookie cutter Christmas, a piece of red ribbon and a 4x5 piece of double sided designers series paper.
I used Blush Blossom for the face and Blushing Bride for the cheeks, the clothes with Crumb Cake, Baked Brown Sugar ,Cherry Cobbler & Very Vanilla.
I then cut the DSP in half and adhered to a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, then took a piece of the dsp and cut it in half and used it on the end of the Very Vanilla card and put a piece of the ribbon down the middle.
I then used the 2nd to the smallest Label die and popped up the Eskimo, added a wooden snowflake with a pearl in the center, the sentiment is from a retired stamp set (name unknown). Added some Very Vanilla ink with a sponge dauber to the top and bottom of the card for some snowy effect.
I enjoyed making this card and I hope I have inspired you too!
This weeks color challenge is to use Red, Black and Yellow.
Since I am in the mood to make Christmas cards, I searched the internet for some inspirational ideas and this is what I found to create my card.
I used Stampin Up's Real Red, Basic Black and Summer Sun cardstock for the card and mats, Embellished Ornaments dies for the ornaments. I used the red foil for the small one, black glitter cardstock for the other ornament and for the center of the ornament I cut from sticky paper and used Stampin Up's Sun Sparkle glitter for the center of the ornament.
I have been in the card making mood so I joined a few challenges. Two of the challenges I used red and white in them and with this challenge I stayed with the same color theme.
The Just Us Girls challenge is to use sequins in your project.
Here is my card:
I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the base and White Shimmery cardstock for the mat. I used the Star of Light thinlits to cut out the Star base from Real Red foil cardstock and the two smaller stars, Dazzling Diamonds cardstock for the center star and two smaller stars. I stamped the Swoosh from the Star of Light stamp set in versamark that is tinted light blue and used Iridescent Ice (retired) on it and then added some sequins from my stash to the card. I finally stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Cherry Cobbler.
I hope you enjoy the card as much as I do, I think by far this stamp set bundle is my all time favorite!
This weeks challenge is to use colors or certain items in the photo that inspire you from Merry Monday!
Cherry Cobbler for the card base, Brushed Silver and white for the mats. I then used Versamark ink for the tree (two step called Solemn Stillness-Retired) Emerald Envy embossing powder for tree base and then Real Red embossing powder for the 2nd step of the tree. I then added the stars from the same stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and some rhinestones.
Here is the inside of the card:
I used Emerald Envy ink for the sentiment and again Cherry Cobbler for the stars.
I really liked how the tree stood out and at first I was not sure of the Emerald Envy but have come to love it, especially with the Real Red on top of it.
This one was a bit challenging, but I came up with a card that I thought fit this color theme.
I used the Jar of Love stamp set for the jar ( popped up with dimensionals), flowers, sentiment and bugs, some washi tape from one of the paper pumpkins stash, peekaboo peach ribbon for the bow, Emerald Envy for the bugs lights, the greenery, Smokey Slate for the jar, Sahara Sand for the splotches from the Timeless Textures stamp set, flowers in Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral, and all card stock is Very Vanilla. Since a jar needs a handle; I used some wire from stampin up (retired).
Stamp with Amy K posted a card she created for this challenge and it is simply gorgeous!!!
And... it is from the new Stampin Up' Holiday Catalog:)
Now on with the challenge!
The challenge is to create a card using these colors. The colors did not have to be exact because they want everyone to have a chance to join in. Since I have Stampin Up' products I chose to go with:
Here is my card, I used the new Jar of Love on page 75 of the annual catalog for my card.
I stamped the jar on acetate in white stazon ink (stazon is a permanent ink for plastic), the jar lid in the Brushed Silver card stock and stamped in Memento black the lid, I then stamped the water for the jar in Marina Mist, the gold fish in Summer Sun (retired). I then stamped the lighting bugs aka fireflies in Memento Black and then with Cucumber Crush I colored in their "lights". I then cut three circles to add behind them in Cucumber Crush and added a Wink of Stella to them so they would "light" up. I then stamped Hello Friend in the corner in memento black. I used the matching framelits dies to cut out the jar, lid, water, fish and fireflies.
I hope you enjoyed this card. (sorry if the pic is a little fuzzy)
I hope everyone is celebrating the 4th of July with family, friends and an awesome cookout. If you are celebrating with fireworks, please be safe and lastly THANK YOU! to all our veterans who have served and our serving to keep our country safe.
Merry Monday is having a challenge before they take the summer off. They are wanting you to create a card using blue, gold, white and or silver.
Here is the card I created for it:
I used Island Indigo, silver cardstock, gold ribbon and stamped my images on white cardstock. I used Island Indigo for the tree and sentiment. I then embossed it with the retired iridescent ice. I wish Stampin' Up would bring it back.
Stamps I used are Snow Swirled-tree and Solemn Stillness- sentiment.
I follow a lot of craft bloggers from Cricut, Silhouette, DCWV to Stampin' Up demo's. They Stampin' Up demos are the nicest people to share their ideas and their passion for Stampin' UP. Every now and then they do giveaways and today I won one of them.
I won the June Blog Candy Give Away Paper Pumpkin Kit !
Please stop by Patty's Stampin Spot and check out her cards and leave her a comment that you stopped by:)
This is the popular stamp set from Stampin' Up. I watched a video from Stamp and Scrap with Frenchie. She showed how to make a beautiful sunrise. Here is my version of it:
I used So Saffron as the card base, the mat is Pink Pirouette. Whisper white card stock for the stamping of the trees. I used gold embossing powder for the tree bases and the trees themselves are embossed with Fall Splendor. Sorry my pics are dark but in person it is really pretty. The background is what Fenchie showed how to create. The ink I used is So Saffron, Pink Pirouette and Pistachio Pudding. Black memento ink for the Thinking of You (Sincere Salutations stamp set, retired 2005) and a piece of pink ribbon across the top.
This months team share involved the new Fox Builder. Michelle sent us a punched out fox that we would put together, Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine and a piece of the new dsp A Little Foxy.
Here is what I created with these pieces:
I used pool party for the card base and smoky slate for the center frame and used dimensional's to pop it up and the same for the fox. I used tangelo twist to color some of the fox, a black pen to create the eyes and etc.. I then used smoky slate ink around the frame and added pearls to each of the 4 corners.
On the inside I added a verse and used Happy Birthday from the Butterfly Basics in pool party:
Is anyone singing this song?,,, LOL!!
I hope you enjoyed this month's team share. Please leave a comment so I know you stopped by:)
